title/rank/status

hi!
last week, i went to see a movie called "the impossible" with my bestfriend. the movie was FANTASTIC! and it was her treat! (thanks a lot). i rarely went for a movie. the last movie i saw was "Wrath of the Titans" and i regretted paying my own money to see the movie...the last time i went to see a movie with her was like 5 years ago and i was glad that we watched the movie together. ahhh..how i missed the days when we got to spend our days together everyday..
anyways, she told her story where she met with someone that has a high status in the country and during that time, she didn't know that he is a 'someone'. so, instead calling her dato', she called her tuan. the 'someone' put on his dislike face and tried to ignore my friend. she asked a friend, then the friend told her that he is someone with a status. so after that, she addressed him accordingly, and he treated her kindly..
i hate people that thinks that status is is very important. i recently finished my psychiatric posting and i'm right about this:

what is narcissist? narcissist is a person that love himself excessively. well, if a person doesn't fulfill 5 or more criteria above, he doesn't have a DISORDER but a narcissistic TRAIT instead..
so,from the criteria above, the person who has high status in my friend's story fulfill some of the criteria:
1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance
4. requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement
and
9. shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitude

i once encountered a man in my brother's school ceremony. the announcer called a man..someone's father, "Mr Ismail b Abu"..then, this Mr Ismail stood up and said "HAJI! haji Ismail" with an angry face..i was like, hello....there was no "HAJI" written on your birth certificate/your identification card/ most importantly ON YOUR FOREHEAD!! there's no way in the world that we know whether you're a haji/dato'/tan sri/dr...and why is putting a title in front of your name is so important and not pronouncing the title together with your name makes it a big mistake..to me, its like announcing to the world "hey! i'm narcissist!"

p/s- but calling people grandma eventhough she is not old, or call pakcik to a high status man when you know it(and he knows that you knew) to offend him is very rude!!

so people, be kind to all. its not hard.

friends and social

hi! happy new year.
one of the hot topics for new year is about their little sister/brother/cousin on their 1st day of school. my housemate talked about her little sister's 1st day, and suddenly i remembered mine :)

on that day, my father sent me to my kindergarten. i was 6 when i 1st entered school. my father kept saying "ayah will wait outside." i said "okay"."so, you'll go inside, alone"."okay"."don't cry"."i won't". "i will be outside. i won't go anywhere". "okay". then, i went in. i sat beside a girl. she said, "hi!i'm mimi(not her real name)". "oh, hi. hanani" i replied. "you know, i know how to write" said the friendly girl again."i see". then she brought out a book and wrote this:
then i said,"mm...an E is not supposed to look like that. it only has 3 horizontal strokes". and i wrote the normal 'E' on her book.then, she looked dissatisfied and she never talked to me again until i finished my kindergarten! when i 1st entered class, i already knew how to read &write because my elder sister thought me before.

about my father, hours after that, he came to my class and said "can i go home now?", "yes"."are you sure?". "yes"."are you sure you're okay?". "yes, i'm sure". "i'm really going now"."bye".then, he went back home. why was he acting like that? well, because my elder sister cried during her 1st day of school.

now, let's go to the 'E' story. socializing was my weakness, actually until today. my problem is, i don't know how to please people. i don't know how to make people to like me. i don't know how to make friends. when i was 6, i only had 2 friends.

then, the same thing also happened when i was 12. there were these 2 girls that were trying to be friendly with me. then, one of them said, "hey girls..look!what a cute guy!oh..i want to get his phone number". i said "why do you want his number?". "because i want to be his friend"."why do you want to be his friend?". "because he is cute?". "what is the relationship between friendship and cute guy?"."because it feels good?"."does being cute means that he will be a kind friend?". then, those 2 girls went quiet. those girls never chat with me again after that. i didn't mean to irritate people. its just i really don't understand, that's why i'm asking...after that, i never did that again so that people don't find me irritating. when i was in primary school, most of my friends are guys.i found it hard to communicate with girl my age.i didn't understand them.guys my age were tough and not sensitive at all.they didn't sulk and irritated easily.

when i was in secondary school, a friend said "look at that cute guy!". i said "where?where?(like i have interest of what she was talking about)"."THAT guy!", she said by pointing at him. "ooh...he looks okay(however, i don't think his cute)". "i want his phone number"."you better not".....and than we chat and chat about that guy. that's how i get more girl friends during secondary school. girls are fun!

bye!hope that 2013 will be a happy year for you!

the infamous invincible beast

hi how are you?
i'm quite busy because exam is just around the corner and currently feel like anhedonia.

mm...since i was little, i am surrounded with pretty, gorgeous, talented human beings. i have a pretty mother, demure elder sister, gutsy little sisters that i respect their unique attitude, pretty face, brainy, confident and much talented friends....yeah, i like  my self. but when i look at the picture, it looks like beauties and the beast. like this:
credit to azar nadhirah. sorry i took your pic from fb because i don't have proper pic of u guys :(

i'm not good in posing in front of camera too. when people say..".hey guys, give me a cute pose. " i was thinking "i'm naturally not cute. how on earth to act cute??" besides, smiling is hard too..it makes my cheeks sore by taking too much pictures..

so guys, if i'm not smiling, it doesn't mean that i'm unhappy...sometimes when i'm in a good mood, and singing inside my heart, i still looks like i'm about to chew and swallow a person! if i'm expressionless, doesn't mean that i'm not interested. if i'm talking about my boring life, doesn't mean that i don't care about your life.....it just..i don't know how to start a conversation. i'm very sorry.
i don't want to hurt feelings. believe me or not, i'm trying everytime  i see a person other than me.

p/s- i got 'C' in social when i was in kindergarten
